The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters met personally to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Former two-time world boxing king Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I plan to break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I will really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
In spite of these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually known for his showmanship - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead targeted ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the novice remains one of the sport's largest money-making draws, frequently receiving massive paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul met for the traditional face-off, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it emphasized just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly going ahead.
